It has come to our notice a news being circulated that Khadijah, the three year old girl, snatched from her father's hand in Kuje, Abuja has been found dead recently.
We hereby notify you that the news is as unfounded and unverified as it stands. We made a call to the father, Umar Suleiman, a few days ago and he reaasures that his daughter is yet to be found.
He mentioned further after we asked him what the police headquartera in Abuja are doing about it, that he was told they have no resources to track the the people calling him to claim they have his daughter.
We then asked him if he has received any call to demand a ransomed for the girl and he explained that "no, i think it is people who saw my number on the post being broadcasted that are claiming they have her, and why I say they should give me proof, send her photo to my whatsapp or let me hear her voice they disappear."
He also added that he has been directed to go to a private investigator who charges exorbitantly, but for his interest in Khadijah's case, asked him to bring 200,000 thousand naira instead of the initial one million naira he charges per case.
He however assures that his wife and new kid (Abdusalaam) are doing well and he just resumed work back at the airport the day we called.
Please don't stop praying for Khadijah's safe return to her family.
