Orphan Carnival 2017 is an initiative of Igunle foundation - impartfund.com
To Celebrate the orphans in our society.
The event was initially planned to hold at a designated venue, where orphans from registered orphanages would meet, and have fun time on children's day 2017 - 27th May.
However, due to inadequate sponsorships, the organisers decided a visit to the orphanages would as well serve a beautiful purpose of celebrating the orphans.
According to one of the organisers, Samuel Adekoya, he said "...In view of low sponsorships and donations among other things, we have decided to scale down the event to a visit to few selected homes.
We are still counting on your support in achieving this through donations of cash and gifts. Remember nothing is too small.
Kindly indicate, if you will be interested in the Fun Ride with us to the homes. and also if giving any gifts, please kindly let us know by reaching out to this numbers:
Samuel - 08034451727, Mar'yam - 08066224728
Also, Gifts to consider donating include:
Beverages
Clothings & Wears among which are Bed Spread, Pillow Case, Duvet, Towel and others
Toiletries e.g. Plastic Bucket, Soaps, Tooth Pastes, Tooth Brush and co
Raw Food Items
School Bags

"I don't know what to feel, but I Knew want to think...
And I thought,if these children could lighten their world will so much enthusiasm and candour ...then why would we with two eyes live this world so difficultly...
Pacelli reminded me that happiness is cheap and the best way to live...."

Seeing those kids made me weep.
But not for them, for us, for humanity
and for our own blindness, Even though we can see.
They are visually impaired but they can see, they see the beauty of life and living, of hope and of dreams and of the future.
We walk about with our eyes wide open, yet we're blind to the sufferings, pain and need of our fellows.
I admire them more than I could even a royalty.

Some of pupils displaying their talents
Below is the video of Nkechi, who suffers from dwarfism along with her visual impairment. But I've never come across a pupil as brilliant and intelligent as she is. She answered a question so wisely she left me amazed.

The Pacelli Experience was a visitation to the Pacelli school of the visually impaired, organised by Arms of Clemency charity organisation, Unilag in partnership with NobleHeart children foundation and the Helpmate charity organisation On 31St Oct. 2016.
135 blind children were shown love, care and affection.
They were happy and they were pleased, that when we were about to leave, they didn't want us to.
We went there baring presents and even though they couldn't see us, they felt our presence to their cores. Not just because of the cupcakes and sweet drinks that was distributed amongst them.
Most of these children are gifted with wonderful talents which i'm sure would get the somewhere in life if properly nurtured for them.
It was a very wonderful experience for us as visitors and them as host.
